Our Health and Wellbeing sessions will run via Microsoft Teams. Students will not be expected to use microphones or share video for example, but will hopefully enjoy having the chance to follow along in their own environment, taking part in a host of activities.
Staff will be guiding students through a range of resources to develop awareness, knowledge and skills based on improving general health and wellbeing, and more specifically following simple courses and exercises based on yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and breathing practices, as well doing a range of familiar, (and some less familiar) activities to help manage stress etc, and build even better self-care.
The sessions will be a chance to spend some short dedicated time to trial and practise a wide range of techniques.
The Key Stage 2 & 3 session will run from 12:30pm-1:00pm (Wednesdays).
The Key Stage 4 session will run from 1:00pm-1:30pm (Wednesdays).
We will be using the CHES Academy Website for the lessons - www.chesapa.org
Students will navigate along the tabs at the top of the website to the Health and Wellbeing section and will join lessons from there
There will be two options to join;
KS2 & 3 with Paul Pilling
KS4 group with Paul Pilling
